Pretty in Pink

I wanted to take a picture of all my girls in pink. Sarah wanted to make funny faces and Anna didn't want to take a picture so this is the best we could do. This was right before we left for the airport to pick up Josh. The girls were so excited to see Josh he had been in China for two weeks. Sarah kept saying things like "when is Daddy coming home." My Daddy never comes home." Abigail couldn't container herself she couldn't keep still and she kept saying "Daddy coming home." We are so glad to have Daddy back home.

Swinging

What a sweet baby. This is how Anna spent hours this morning. I love this sweet sweet baby. I don't remember Abigail or Sarah spending more than 20 minutes in the swing.

Anna is two months old

Anna was two months old on the 22nd. I cannot believe it. I want to capture each moment because it is going way to fast. Anna is a good baby. She sleeps very well in the morning and will sleep for 7-8 hours at night. She is pretty cranky in the evenings. She would also rather to eat from a bottle than breastfeed. I never thought I would have to still be working on the breastfeeding at two months old. Anna is becoming so aware, she watches Abigail and Sarah play and she smiles and tries to coo at them. Anna is very strong, she lifts her head up from a laying position. She is such a sweet baby and has added so much joy to our family.

Weight:13.1lbs 90% (I think)

Height: 23.3in 85%

All smiles.
Look at how chunky her legs are.

Here is a picture without a bow for Paw Paw and Daddy. I think she looks a lot like my baby pictures.

Sweet Sisters

Abigail is such a great big sister. She loves to help out and hold Anna especially at night. I was reading a book to Sarah last night and Abigail said let me hold Anna for you. Anna of course loves Abigail too she always has a big smile for her big sister. Sarah is a good big sister too. She runs to bring Anna her passie and enjoys talking and singing to her, but she doesn't usually want to hold Anna.

So sweet. Kisses goodnight. I hope they will always be great friends.

Last Day of School

Today was the last day of school. I cannot believe how fast this year went. It was an amazing year. Both Abigail and Sarah had incredible teachers who helped them grow and learn so much. The end of this school year was harder this year than previous years. I guess because it was a goodbye for Abigail and we all had a tremendous school year. I am starting to realize that although Anna is almost two months old this will be the first time that I will have all three girls every day all day and that will take some adjustment for all of us.

Abigail on the last day of school.

Abigail on the first day of school. Doesn't she look so much more mature?
Sarah on the last day of school.
Sarah on the first day of school. She definitely has blossomed.
Abigail wanted to take a picture of how she felt about the last day of school. She was really sad about school ending she loved Miss Sylvia, Miss Denise and all of her friends. Sarah is only partly sad.
I couldn't leave Anna out of the photos. I know I am biased but she is getting cuter every day.

Girl Drama

Our girls have been speaking lately like they are teenagers. They already say "I never" and "everyone else gets to." The other day I asked Abigail to come so I could comb her hair, she had a smart comment so Josh told her that she needed to listen to mommy and come here. Abigail was pouting in her room after I brushed her hair and Sarah comes into my room and tells Josh "Daddy Abigail said you broke her heart." Josh told her that he did not break Abigail's heart so Sarah ran back to Abigail and said "Abigail, Daddy didn't break your heart." Abigail told me that when she has kids she is going to let them wear headbands everyday and never brush their hair if they don't want it brushed. I know the drama is just beginning.

Preschool Graduation

Abigail had her preschool graduation yesterday. It was an adorable program that made me smile and made me shed some tears. I am really going to miss Abigail's teachers, they have been amazing. I never worried about leaving her with them. They were always encouraging, always made Abigail feel so special and they taught her everything from Jesus loves her to reading sight words. I am very grateful for all they have done. I hope Sarah gets the opportunity to be in their class in two years. I have no doubt that Abigail is ready for kindergarten but I am not sure if I am ready. It feels like I have been able to keep her in a bubble and now it is about to be popped. I know we will find a new comfort zone and Abigail will amaze me with her easy going nature I just can't imagine her graduating from elementary school, let alone high school.
Abigail was very different at this performance than she has been in the past. In the past she had the biggest grin on her face and very outgoing. This time she was much more serious.

Abigial had many lines to remember for the program and she performed them well. She spoke clearly and remembered every word. She did have a hard time keeping her graduation cap on though. She made me very proud to be her mom. Stealing a line from the performance "I do
have the best kid in our town."

Abigail received flowers from Aunt Kim and she was so excited about them that we had to take pictures with them, and show them to everyone even our neighbors. Thanks Aunt Kim.

Abigail with her proud family.

Sarah didn't want to be left out.

I saw my life flash before me when we took this picture. She started posing without us prompting her to and I could see her at her high school graduation so I had to look away.

Mother's Day

I had a wonderful Mother's Day thanks to my wonderful husband and children. They set up breakfast for me with a card for the house to be professionally cleaned for three hours. It was a wonderful breakfast and gift. I will need to be wise when I redeem it. I love being a mother. It was always my dream in life and my girls make me so proud. I am trying to preserve every moment because it all seems to be going by soo fast.
A funny story: Josh told the girls on Saturday that the next day was Mother's Day and Abigail asked when is Father's Day. I told her in June and then Sarah wanted to know when her day was. I told her my mom use to say that everyday is kid's day.

Pajama Party

Abigail had her birthday party on Saturday. She wanted a pajama party and so the kids all came in their pj's. I think Abigail had a great time and was excited about all of her friends and family coming. She was a terrific birthday girl.

Her is Abigail as everyone is singing Happy Birthday to her. She loves the attention on her but is now becoming a little more embarrassed by it.
The kids were playing outside and it was a hot day. Someone found a water toy and started to spray everyone, so they found more water toys and before we knew Abigail's new sprinkler was out and the pj party turned into a water pj party. I am sure all the parents enjoyed that. Everyone was soaking wet, but it was a lot of fun.

Happy Birthday Abigail!!

I can not believe my baby is 5! I know it is cliche but where has the time gone? Abigail is an independent, outgoing leader. She is very mature and smart. I am so proud of her. Everyday that passes she seems to be more of a teenager and less of a young child. I cannot wait to see how she blossoms and matures. I know Abigail will go after life with full force and will excel in whatever her passion will be.

Grandma took Abigail out for her birthday. They went to the store and they went to lunch followed by the park. Abigail loved all the attention and she treasured their time alone together. Abigail could not wait for Grandma to come and pick her up and she was beaming ear to ear as the car pulled out of the driveway.

New Haircuts

The girls and I got our haircuts yesterday. Abigail cut her hair short and she loved it. While she was getting a haircut she had the biggest smile on her face, and afterward she kept touching it and smiling. I love her haircut too. It makes her look so old and mature. She told me that she doesn't want her hair to grow long. Sarah got her hair cut too but not exactly how she wanted. Sarah wanted her hair cut long like Repunzal. The both look so beautiful and I wish I would of cut their hair sooner.
