We had a wonderful but rainy Easter. We started the day with a beautiful mass and our children were angels throughtout the whole mass! Abigail even told me that we shouldn't think about just bunnies and eggs on Easter but about how Jesus rose from the dead. Wow! that melted my heart. Thank you to her teacher Miss Slyvia who makes a huge impact on Abigail. Then we went to my mom's house for lunch.

Anna's first Easter. Doesn't she look like an angel?

Sarah wore her sunglasses from the easter bunny even though it rained. She didn't want to take them off for pictures in fact she didn't want to take pictures.

Sarah smiled after making us work really hard for it.

I think this is our first family photo.

Rain Rain we love to play

We had a thunderstorm today and Abigail and Anna enjoyed watching the storm in the garage with Daddy. Sarah wasn't as impressed. She helped me make biscuits until the rain died down and then Abigail and Sarah played in the rain.

Abigail enjoying dancing in the rain.

I guess Sarah is ready for summer because she was wet from head to toe.

Abigail's First Soccer Game

Abigail had her first soccer game on Saturday. She was so excited. She loves her uniform and was so excited that our family would be there to cheer her on. Abigail even brought pom poms for Aunt Kim to cheer her on. Abigail had her pictures taken before the game which left her time to play on the playground for 45 minutes before gametime. By the middle of the game which is thirty minutes long she was worn out and ready to go. Josh asked Abigail if she had fun and her answer was "Not really."

Fun with Grandma and Grandpa Denton

Grandma and Grandpa Denton along with G-G pa came to visit us this week. As always the girls were very excited and we had a lot of fun.
Here is Grandma with all four granddaughters. All of them love swinging on Aunt Kim's swing. Josh, Uncle Mark, Uncle Joey, and G-G pa went fishing and caught 4o fish so we were able to have a yummy fish fry.

Sweet Dreams

Everytime Anna starts to fall asleep she smiles. She will close her eyes half way and begin to smile. I love it. I don't know what she is dreaming about but it must be something wonderful.

Anna's Baptism

We had Anna baptized this Sunday. It was the first day she went to church as well. It was so wonderful to welcome her into the Church with so many family and friends. Anna wore the same baptismal gown that Abigail and Sarah wore. Abigail's godparents bought it for her isn't it beautiful?
My sister Ashley made this cake for Anna. I love how it turned out and the pretty purple.
Anna meeting Grandma Denton for the first time.

Anna was baptized in the new baptismal font.
Deacon John baptized Anna and he did a beautiful job. He also kept commenting on how much he loved her good Catholic name.

We feel so blessed by all of our family and friends and we know Anna will have plenty of good examples in her life. Unfortunately everyone did not fit in this picture.

Soccer Practice

Abigail started her first soccer season on Saturday. She loved it. Her team is named the little badgers and there are 5 boys and 2 girls on the team. Abigail loved her uniform and wants to wear it every day. She can not wait for everyone to come see her first game next Saturday.
