Baby's First Picture

We will be welcoming a new baby into our family around March 20, 2011!! (That's seven days after Sarah's 3rd birthday.) We are all very excited. Abigail already told everyone in our family about the baby. She has had many questions...When is your tummy going to grow?, How does the baby eat?, Can I squish the baby?, How does the baby come out?, Can I see the baby come out? I am sure there will be many more questions throughout the next few months, hopefully I can answer them in a way that is satisfying to a four year old.

Fishing with Daddy

Sarah after she touched a fish! I don't think she liked it very much.

Josh has been taking the girls fishing at night and they love it. They go and dig up worms, put them on the hook and they have been catching 5-8 a night. Josh says that Abigail enjoys it, but Sarah just dances and sings songs.

Fun with Grandma

Playing at the tree house in Bass Pro.
Eating at Hideaway with Grandma and loving every minute of it.

Abigail remembered that last time Grandma was here they made me and Josh breakfast in bed so they did it again. That is a good tradition!

The final product: Dirt cake. Let's Eat!

Making sure the cookies were okay before they made the dirt cake. How many cookies can we eat?

We did not get any pictures but here is a video. We were trying to take a picture but the camera was on video mode. I put the video on here because Starbucks is a pretty important trip while Grandma is here.
My pictures are all backwards and I could not get the blog to work like I wanted so excuse the unorganization. We had a lot of fun these past weeks when Grandma Denton came to visit. Everyday Abigail has been talking about how much she misses Grandma. If she is throwing a fit at the end of the fit she will cry and say "I just miss Grandma Denton." I know she is counting down the days until we can see her again. Here are some pictures of her trip here.

Happy Birthday Aunt Ashley!!

We all love Aunt Ashley so much and we hope she has a wonderful birthday. She is so deserving of one she is a wonderful Aunt, sister and friend. She is kind, loving, and talented person. I am sad that I won't be there for her birthday since we are leaving for Vegas today but Abigail is very excited about eating cake with Aunt Ashley.

Mommy's night out!

Josh made pancakes, and as you can see it was a work of art, and educational!!! Way to go Daddy!
A fun game the girls were playing. Do you see the gash on the wall??

I went out the other night and Josh graciously and generously watched the girls. He also watched our neighbor Ashlynn. I am so lucky that Josh never gives me grief and is always supportive of me going out to do anything without the kids. He is a wonderful husband and father. The girls always have a great time with him and never seem to care that I have left.

Fireworks

We had a nice 4th of July yesterday. We celebrated all weekend. The girls are very tired today. Abigail and Sarah both enjoyed the fireworks. Sarah enjoyed the pop-its, she would lay one down on the ground very gently and the step on it. This kept her entertained for a long time. Abigail enjoyed coming up with ideas for Josh. She would come up with where the fire works should be set off and how many.
Uncle Mark giving Sarah a better view of the fireworks in the backyard.

Summer Fun

Playing in the rain.

Here are all the neighbor friends all together (except little Macee). They are playing ring around the rosie here. It is so much fun to watch them play and fight together. We are so blessed to have neighbors that are our friends. The girls look forward to every afternoon and night when we get to go out and play together. (I do too, kids are busy and I get to talk to another adult.)

My grandma came and visited for about a week. Abigail enjoyed all of her attention. They put a smile on each other's face. Unfortunately, I could never get Sarah to take a picture. I don't think my Grandma minded though she really doesn't like having her picture taken.

Sarah making sure she got every last drop of ice cream.

Someone should tell she should lick her face.

Uncle Joey came to visit for a few days so of course on his first night here we had to take him for a treat at Cherry Berry. (Once again Sarah did not want a picture.)

This is one of the favorite things to do at Cherry Berry, walk around the perimeter of the fountain. I am not sure why maybe it helps them learn balance?
