Abigail keeps growing

Abigail had another milestone yesterday... a new booster seat. She loves having a new booster seat she feels very free. She can sway from side to side and reach books in the seat in front of her. One thing that she can now do that everyone loves is she can get in and out of the car seat by herself, and we now do not have to lock the seat into position. Abigail loves her seat so much she was ready to leave Aunt Kim's early just so she can ride in it. She had a huge smile on her face the whole car ride to Aunt Kim's.

Happy Birthday Sarah!

I can not believe my baby is 2. She turned two on Saturday the 13th. We had a puppy party for her and she really enjoyed it. I was very surprised to see how well she did during the party. She never seemed overwhelmed and she had lots of smiles and a good attitude. That right there shows you how much growing up she has been doing. She is becoming more independent everyday. Some of Sarah's favorite things are puppies, shoes, and babies. The first thing in the morning that she does is takes off her pajamas and finds some shoes to put on. That is definetly not like her mommy or daddy. She is very maternal and takes very good care of her puppies and babies. Everyday she is carrying on longer and longer conversations; therefore we have less and less tears. I can't believe she is two when it feels like yesterday when my chunky 8 lbs 9oz baby was born. Now she is a skinny short toddler who is asking whhyyy? and what are you doing? all the time. I love watching Sarah grow and I wish I could freeze time. Thank you God for Sarah one of your many miracles.

Sarah's Prayer

Josh was trying to keep Sarah entertained last night before the Stations of the cross began so he took her to the chapel. Josh said they were saying prayers and Sarah kept saying peanut butter and jelly, and slides. I guess Sarah is very thankful for both of them.

A Conflict for Abigail

Abigail woke up in the middle of the night last night saying her ear hurt. I gave her some Tylenol and she went to bed. It was surprising to me because she didn't have a cold. I also knew she would be upset if she couldn't go to school, because they were suppose to have their pictures taken with a bunny today. When she woke up in the morning she told me her ear hurt, so I told her we would need to go to the doctor. She immediately told me her ear didn't hurt, and she tried so hard to not complain and be brave. I could see the internal conflict within her and I could see her thinking how do I feel better and still get to go to school. ( I love when I can see their thought processes.) I told her that she could take her picture tomorrow and that satisfied her. The doctor told us it was just an ear infection and that it was not contagious, so I brought her to school. I told her I would pick her up early from school if her ear hurt too bad and she was insistent that her ear was fine. When I picked her up from school she looked tired, but she was happy to get her picture taken with the bunny. She loves going to school and did not complain about any pain. I hope she always has a desire to go to school to learn and be with other children.
